By accessing or using Brilla Coach or Brilla Student (collectively, the "Services") operated by Brilla Lab ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

Brilla Lab provides AI-powered educational platforms for National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) preparation. Brilla Coach is designed for coaches and educators to manage squads, run practice sessions, and analyze student performance. Brilla Student is designed for students to practice questions, engage in voice challenges, use speed sheets, and interact with the Kaufmann AI coach.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Distribute, share, or sell questions, answers, or other content from the platform without authorization.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Services in ways that could overload or harm the platform.
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code or content.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a school or organization.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI-generated content, question databases, and software — are owned by Brilla Lab and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

6. AI-Generated Content

Our Services use artificial intelligence to generate practice questions, explanations, coaching insights, and other educational content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of academic information.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

• Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are displayed on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or as specified).
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.

8. Data Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your data and the data of your students. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brilla Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
